I interned as a Business Operations Intern and was responsible for launching a new product across 7 cities in India. My internship took me through various domains involved in launching a product: starting from demand analysis for the driver & rider side, setting the Go To Market strategy, establishing the pricing and testing the product features before the launch. All of these activities demanded me to liaison with various other functions across the world. Having a regular cadence set up with the assigned buddy and manager helped me course correct the direction in which the project was going. Also, taking a written recommendation from all the stakeholders who supported me during the project helped to form a good perception of myself to the reviewers and decision-makers.
My experience was enriching with opportunity to understand about the workings of the company’s marketplace and exhilarating with endeavor to navigate one of the most complex Industries of today.
For General Management related Group Discussions & Personal Interviews, be the jack of all trades (domains). Keep your preparation focused for all the domains like Marketing, Consulting, Finance etc., and at least be a master of the basic level questions of all the domains.
